Letter of Sheikh Nimr to his Mother before his execution

For My Patient Mother Umme Ja'far':

My mother! always be grateful to God and accept the fate that is awaiting to you; because What God has foreordained for you is more better than its human one, and what he has chosen for us is more wisely than what we want for ourselves; It is true that we need to pray and to ask him anything but he knows our interests better than us.

Praise be to God, who orders people while they are living under the shadow of his rule, [so] nobody can change anything unless the will of God be at that way. My mom! Be aware that God is seer of what people are doing even the smallest one and [our works] are not out of his will; it is enough for us to know that what happens to us are only on the basis of divine providence and nothing else.

At the end, I leave you and all people to God who is the best guardian and protector

To the Youth in Western Countries

Message of Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei

Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran

29th of Nov, 2015

In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

To the Youth in Western Countries,

The bitter events brought about by blind terrorism in France have once again, moved me to speak to you young people. For me, it is unfortunate that such incidents would have to create the framework for a conversation, however the truth is that if painful matters do not create the grounds for finding solutions and mutual consultation, then the damage caused will be multiplied.

ghadir

Ahmad bin Hanbal says:

Abdullah bin Ahmad relates from Ali bin Hakim Awdi from Sharik from Abi Ishaq from Sa‘id bin Wahab and Zayd bin Yuyhay both of whom have narrated:

Ali  complained and addressed the people at Rahbah, saying:

“All those who had heard the Prophet’s words at Ghadir Khum, stand up.”

The narrator says:

Six persons on behalf of Sa‘id and six persons on behalf of Zayd stood up and bore testimony that they heared

the Prophet said on the Day of Ghadir:

Is not God superior to the faithful?

Yes! said the gathering.

 He said:

O Allah! For whomsoever I am master ‘Ali is his master. O Allah! Be friend his friends and despise his enemies”.1

Mahdi1

We have been told in the holy verse

That the meek will inherit this earth

We are all waiting so anxiously For

Jesus (a.s.) to rise up with Mahdi (a.s.)

Now that this world is in need of peace

And you can hear all the orphans that plea

All we need is your path to succeed

So that man can forever live free

ahl al-bayt

The ahl al-sunna wa'l-Jama'a maintains that this verse (33:33)was revealed for the wives of the Prophet (S.A.W.). They derive their proof from the context of the preceding and following verses. According to their claims, Allah therefore removed impurity from the wives of the Prophet and purified them completely. Among them are those who add to the [list of the] wives of the Prophet, 'Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan and al-Husayn. But the truth, according to what has been transmitted, as well as according to reasoning, logic and history, refutes this explanation. [This is] because the ahl al-sunna narrate in their Sahihs that the verse was revealed regarding five people namely: Muhammad, 'Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan and al-Husayn, and that the Prophet of Allah (S.A.W.) identified them and his noble self as being referred to by the noble verse when he gathered 'Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan and al-Husayn with him under the cloak. He said: "O Allah! These are my household, so cleanse them of all impurity and purify them completely.”
